The TMCC Learning Commons is a welcoming, dynamic shared space where students, staff, and faculty can access and utilize Library Services, Tutoring, Computers, Group Study Rooms, WebCollege, the Academic Support Center, Lost and Found, and Professional Development.
The Learning Commons is designed to support TMCC's mission to promote student success, academic excellence, and access to lifelong learning in our diverse community.
Learning Commons Mission
The Learning Commons creates, promotes, and sustains opportunities for faculty, staff, students, and community members by providing dynamic resources, inclusive and collaborative learning spaces, and high-quality services through the Elizabeth Sturm Library, the Tutoring and Learning Center, and the Web College.
Vision
The Learning Commons empowers users to become critical thinkers, engaged learners, and effective communicators. By promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, technological fluency, and information literacy, we prepare our students, faculty, staff, and community members for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st-century knowledge economy.
