TMCC is a fully accredited public community college located in Reno, Nevada, approximately 5 miles north of the University of Nevada, Reno. We offer associate degrees and certificates in a wide range of majors. TMCC has an enrollment of approximately 12,000 students.

Reno is located in Northwestern Nevada. The Reno area has a mild, dry climate and four distinct seasons. We are approximately a 45-minute drive from Lake Tahoe and a 4-hour drive from San Francisco. Reno and the surrounding area have much to offer in sports, recreation and culture year round.

The TMCC campus does not offer student housing. There is a variety of housing options available near the UNR and TMCC campuses along with reliable, affordable city bus system for transportation.

Application deadline dates: apply early — consulates are busy.

• If you must apply for an F1 visa:
  June 1 for fall semester
  November 1 for spring semester.
• If you already have an F1 visa:
  August 1 for fall semester
  December 15 for spring semester.
