Transfer Agreements

Students transferring to a Nevada university or state college must complete at least 12 transferable credits and have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA. Beginning in the fall 2006 semester, students will need 24 transferable credits with a minimum 2.3 GPA. Some majors require a higher GPA. TMCC courses that do not transfer to Nevada's state college or universities are labeled with the letter "B", "C", or the course number will be below 100.

Students who plan to transfer to an out-of-state institution should visit the TMCC Career Center. Most colleges and universities have detailed Web sites that list degree requirements. An advisor can help students select the appropriate courses to complete at TMCC.
