Alumni Association Benefits

Alumni ID Card

Once you join the Alumni Association, you will receive an Alumni ID card. Your Alumni ID card will allow you access to the benefits and services of membership. You should carry your ID card with you whenever you visit the college.

Alumni E-Newsletter

You will receive a copy of the Alumni E-Newsletter, which is mailed quarterly. Inside each e-newsletter, you will read the latest news about the College and your fellow alumni.

Alumni Scholarships (Begins Spring 2010)

Children of Truckee Meadows Community College Alumni are eligible to apply for the TMCC Alumni Association annual scholarship.

Invitations to Special Events

The Alumni Association will hold several events each year. Your membership entitles you to invitations to these special events.

Career Services Center

The Career Center is a centralized office staffed by TMCC professionals who will assist you with career and employment needs. We are your guide to career advisement and planning, job search techniques and strategies, career information, job placement, and internships. Career Services assists alumni in achieving their educational, career/work, and life goals.

Computer Access

Computers are available for use in all of the college's open computer labs. An ID and password will be given to each dues paying member of the Alumni Association.

Library Services

Members have access to the TMCC Elizabeth Sturm Library to study, use reading and research materials and computers. Books may be checked out for 14 days and videos may be used in-house.

TMCC Fitness Center

Get in shape for an additional fee of $100 per year or $50 per semester. Summer memberships can be purchased for $25. However, if you purchase the membership for the entire year by July 30, summer membership fees are waived. You can enjoy weight training and cardio equipment.
