Delayed Start Information

WCSD Delayed Starts

The one–hour and two–hour delayed starts as designated by Washoe County School District do not affect TMCC High School students in relation to their high school classes. High school classes begin at 12:30 p.m. each day.

Snow Days by WCSD

If a snow day is declared by WCSD, there will be no classes for TMCC High School students, even if the college is open. In this case, students will be responsible for attending college classes only.

College Delayed Starts

Delayed starts designated by the college may affect TMCC High School students if they have early morning college classes. Delayed starts for the college will be posted on the TMCC Web site.

Snow Days by TMCC

If a snow day is declared by the college, but not WCSD, all classes on Dandini will be canceled.

TMCC snow days and exact campus and site closure information will be posted on their Web site's home page.
