ACCUPLACER
ACCUPLACER placement test is required for English and math classes. If you are taking the ACCUPLACER for the first time, it is free. For all retests there is a $10.00 charge that must be paid at the controller's office.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is available in the forms of grants, loans, scholarships, student employment or a combination of these.
Advisement
Academic advisement and counseling is available and recommended for students. These services will assist you and help you become more familiar with the college, the nursing program and other programs at TMCC. The health sciences division offers a free monthly nursing orientation session 
.

Tutoring and Learning Center
Truckee Meadows Community College has consolidated its tutoring services into one center. All of the services once called the Writing Center, the Math Center, The SOURCE, and the ESL Resource Center are under the title Tutoring and Learning Center.
The Tutoring and Learning Center is located at the Dandini Campus in the Vista Building. Students can find help with math, writing, the sciences, business, and the humanities.
