Political Science Department

Announcement: Starting with summer 2009, PSC 101 (Introduction to American Politics) will replace PSC 103 (Principles of American Constitutional Government) in the TMCC course catalog and class schedule. Despite the new title and call number, PSC 101 meets the same degree, certificate and emphasis requirements at TMCC that PSC 103 did. Students who take PSC 101 will fulfill NSHE's U.S. and Nevada Constitution requirement.

The political science department at TMCC offers a variety of courses, ranging from survey courses in American government, international relations, and comparative government to more specialized courses, such as the politics of international terrorism.
