HESI Admission Assessment Exam
The Health Education Systems, Inc. (HESI) Admission Assessment is a timed, computerized test. All sections of the HESI exam must be completed in their entirety and can be taken only one time in a 12-month period. If a score of less than 70% is achieved on any section on the first attempt, that section or sections can be repeated in the same 12-month period. The repeat must take place before the application due date. Exams expire after 12 months.
The cost of the exam is $80 for each attempt. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $3.50.
TMCC's Radiologic Technology Program is responsible for all admission requirements and decisions regarding the Radiologic Technology HESI exam.

Scoring
The Radiologic Technology HESI entrance exam score is 10 points out of the 32 total points, for admission to the Radiologic Technology Program.
A 70% score is required in English, Math, Sciences, and Critical Thinking; Learning Styles, Personal Inventory are not scored.
An average score for the Radiologic Technology HESI entrance exam is calculated. The average percent score (for English, Math, Science, and Critical Thinking areas) is divided by the number 10.
Exam Dates
Testing is held at the Pennington Health Science Center. The exam starts at 9 a.m. You must be checked in no later than 8:30 a.m. You will have 6 hours to complete all sections. Please check your email for instructions 2-3 days before your testing date. Be sure to check your spam folder as well.
