Change of Name, Address or Major

Name changes may be processed in person at Starting Point, or via fax, by presenting legal documentation of the name change. Changes to your major program or emphasis can also be completed at Starting Point. Address changes can be processed in person, online via MyTMCC, via e-mail or fax to 775-673-7028.

Degree Audit Reports

The Degree Audit Report is an automated report on your progress toward finishing your degree in your declared major. The DAR's analysis considers TMCC work, courses transferred from other institutions and courses in progress.

Enrollment Verification

An enrollment verification request allows TMCC to release information about your enrollment status to a specific person or company. They are most commonly used as proof of enrollment for insurance, employment or student loans.

To order an enrollment verification, access the verification through MyTMCC, opening your profile, and selecting "enrollment verification". In the event that you need a different format or assistance, please contact the Starting Point for the appropriate request.

Grade Reports

Final grades are available through MyTMCC approximately four working days after the end of the term. MyTMCC allows you to print a copy of your grades.

Graduation

Please refer to the college catalog for specific requirements to earn a degree or certification at Truckee Meadows Community College.

Application Deadlines
November 1 for fall graduation
April 1 for spring graduation
June 1 for summer graduation

Residency Changes

If you were originally classified as out-of-state for tuition purposes and have since made Nevada your place of permanent residence, you may apply for a change in tuition by completing th change in residency status form. You must supply the required supporting documentation with the form when you submit it to Records.

Transcripts

Official Transcripts: Students can order a copy of their official transcripts at the Starting Point window or by completing the transcript request form. There is no charge for transcripts. Students will be required to show photo ID in order to pick up transcripts.

Unofficial Transcripts: Unofficial transcripts can be obtained at the Starting Point or through MyTMCC. While not suitable for transfer or reference, they have a complete list of the courses taken and grades received at TMCC.
