For a first-time college student, an older returning student, or even a continuing student, adjustment to college can provide some challenges. Contact with a counselor can help ease life's transitions by overcoming these challenges.
Since college is a time in which many personal, academic and career goals are shaped, counselors can assist by clarifying issues, showing how to take the steps to change unwanted behaviors, improve relationships, increase confidence and boost self-esteem. Our professional counselors meet with students individually in a welcoming and confidential environment to help with personal issues.
Only TMCC students can utilize personal counseling services; however, anyone can meet with a counselor to discuss other programs and services.
