The TMCC Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Applied Business Management Program is designed to help students with an associate degree advance into management roles, start their own businesses, and gain leadership skills tailored to Nevada’s growing industries.
Important: To be eligible for the program, applicants must have an associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution. Current TMCC students can apply for conditional acceptance if they are actively finishing up their associate degree.
To apply to the BAS in Applied Business Management Program, complete the following steps:
- Apply to the College
Complete a TMCC Application for Admission and view important dates and deadlines. If you have questions, contact the Admissions and Records Office. - Apply to the BAS-ABM Program
Complete the BAS-Applied Business Management Program Application below.- Attach an unofficial transcript showing evidence of an associate-level degree or higher as part of the application.
- Submit Official Transcripts
Ensure official transcripts from your previous institution, verifying completion of an associate degree or higher, are sent directly to TMCC and that you request a Credit Evaluation for Transfer Students. Visit Transcript Services for details.- If you have completed coursework outside of your Associate degree that is equivalent or very closely related to the requirements in the BAS in Applied Business Management you may get additional credit towards the BAS.
- Selection Process
Applicants meeting the minimum requirements listed above will be accepted into the BAS-Applied Business Management Program and will be notified via email by Admissions and Records. - Register
Register for classes in MyTMCC.- If you did not complete your associate’s degree at a Nevada System of Higher Education institution (TMCC, WNC, GBC, UNR, CSN, NSU or UNLV) you will also need to register for a one credit Nevada Constitution class in order to graduate.
