Faculty Senate Meeting
The meeting location or conference link will be confirmed closer to the meeting date.
Faculty Senate is the officially designated organization representing members of the TMCC faculty on most academic issues and other issues of shared governance at the College and in the Nevada System of Higher Education.
Elected Senators represent faculty members of each major instructional unit and an elected Chair represents the Senate. Through monthly meeting and functional committees, the Senate addresses many important topics, such as curriculum, academic and professional standards, monetary issues, general education, bylaws, professional development, library, part-time instructor concerns, and social functions.
The Senate meets on a regular basis, consisting of a minimum of eight times per year. These meetings are held in the spring and fall semesters. All Faculty Senate meetings are open, and all interested persons are encouraged to attend.
The Faculty Senate Web page is accessible at www.tmcc.edu/facultysenate/. Information, documentation and schedules are available at this TMCC Website.
