Lab Fee: $45. Students taking VETN 128-1001 will be prompted to take either LAB VETN 128-1002 or LAB VETN 128-1003. There will be some off-site labs. Enrollment is limited to Veterinary Nursing Program students. Note: class will not meet on TMCC holidays; check the class syllabus. This program is held in the new Veterinary Nursing suite located in the TMCC Meadowood North Building, 5250 Neil Road, Ste. 170.In the event of public health restrictions or other emergencies, classes may need to be changed to Web-Live, Web, or Hybrid instruction modes. Students will be notified by instructors and/or academic departments of any required changes.

Description
A course that highlights basic and advanced nursing procedures, including but not limited to restraint, behavior awareness, physical exams, reproduction, necropsy, specimen collection, euthanasia, companion animal diseases, emergency and critical care, laws and ethics, and practice management skills for veterinary technicians/veterinary nurses.
