Lab Fee: $50. Throughout the lab class, there will be lectures. It's mandatory to attend the first class. You must meet all the requirements to enroll in the CLS sequence. All classes will be held at TMCC's Meadowood NORTH, 5250 Neil Road. For more information, contact the CNA office (775-824-8640 or 824-8641). In the event of public health restrictions or other emergencies, classes may need to be changed to Web-Live, Web, or Hybrid instruction modes. Students will be notified by instructors and/or academic departments of any required changes.

Description
A laboratory and classroom experience in which students obtain knowledge in and supervised practice of blood collection methods routinely used to collect patent samples for diagnostic testing. This course must be taken concurrently with CLS 151, Phlebotomy. If certification as a Phlebotomy Technician by the American Society for Clinical Pathology and licensure as a Lab Assistant in Nevada is desired CLS 153 must be taken in addition to CLS 151 and CLS 152.

Students enrolling in CLS 152-1001 (Lab) must also enroll in CLS 152-1001 (Lecture) and CLS 153-1001 (Clinical).
