Students must log into Canvas on the first day of class or risk being dropped for non-attendance. It has shown that Heritage Spanish speakers, Native Spanish speakers, or Spanish speakers who grew up speaking Spanish in their homes have not been successful in this course. Please contact the Foreign Language Department, to learn about the Spanish Heritage Language track, starting with SPAN 226 and continuing with SPAN 227 (which satisfies the foreign language requirement).

Description
Continued introduction to basic Spanish language structures and cultural topics with a focus on proficiency in the four skills as described for SPAN 111. This course transfers to UNR as SPAN 112.
