Lab Fee: $25. Open Entry/Closed Exit Lab from 4-9 p.m., Mon.-Thu. Lab meets in EDSN 164. Students enrolling in DYN open-entry classes have 24 hours after the time of enrollment to drop the class for a 100% refund. Last date to enroll in a DYN open-entry class for Spring 2024 term is 3/08/2024. After 3/08/2024 no enrollment is allowed and classes cannot be dropped. Students must complete all work by 5/9/2024. In the event of public health restrictions or other emergencies, classes may need to be changed to Web-Live, Web, or Hybrid instruction modes. Description
Exposes the student to the principles of dimensional metrology and explores Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts and applications. Students will learn how to use common measuring instruments relating to state-of-the-art manufacturing environments. Students will also learn the importance of Quality Control, TQM, and SPC processes as they relate to manufacturing environments.
