Lab Fee: $50. There will be some off-site labs. Enrollment is limited to Veterinary Nursing program students. Note: Class will not meet on TMCC holidays; check the class syllabus. This program is held in the new Veterinary Nursing suite located in the TMCC Meadowood North Building, 5250 Neil Road, Ste. 170. In the event of public health restrictions or other emergencies, classes may need to be changed to Web-Live, Web, or Hybrid instruction modes. Students will be notified by instructors and/or academic departments of any required changes.

Description
The course includes information in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, immunology, cytology, and toxicology. The student will learn collection, handling, and transporting of biological samples. Students will learn laboratory procedures to assist in the diagnostic process for animal diseases and illnesses.
