The TMCC Career and Technical Education (CTE) College Credit program offers students the opportunity to earn college credit for approved CTE programs completed in high school. The approved classes are taught by high school teachers at the high school.
Note: Applications for CTE College Credit must be submitted within 3 years of high school graduation.
To earn TMCC college credit, students must:
- Earn the State Certificate of Skill Attainment
To be eligible, you must complete the high school CTE program (2-year or 3-year) course sequence with a grade point average of B or higher, pass the state end-of-program technical skills assessment, and pass the state Workplace Readiness Skills assessment. - Apply for Admission to TMCC

Note: Nevada Department of Education is restructuring high school CTE Programs of Study to increase access and opportunity for all students to participate in CTE Programs of Study. Most CTE Programs of Study will transition from a 3-year program to a 2-year program. There may be changes to assessments that may impact articulation agreements and a student's eligibility to earn free CTE College Credit.
