Online Course Fee: $15. Course Fee $50. There is an additional fee of $40 for protective equipment; details provided in Canvas. Students must have full coverage medical insurance to attend the in-person meetings. Be prepared to show proof of insurance at the first in-person meeting. This is a hybrid section: part in-person and part web-based. Web portion runs 10/2-11/15/2023. Students are required to attend all hands-on in-person training at the Carson City Fire Department on 10/21, 10/22, and 11/4/2023. Instructor will communicate through email with directions to Carson City Fire Station as well as requirements for attendance. Students must attend the in-person meetings and sign into the web-based portion on the first day of class or risk being dropped for non-attendance. In the event of public health restrictions or other emergencies, classes may need to be changed to Web-Live, Web, or Hybrid instruction modes. Students will be notified by instructors and/or academic departments of any required changes.
