Description: | R. Guy Jones was a wonderful man who saw the best in everyone. He was intelligent, kind, and caring beyond measure. As an attorney, he fought for those who couldn't fight for themselves and he believed that everyone deserved a second chance. Dad suffered from a debilitating disease which eventually took his life far too early. I am thankful for the time that we had together. To honor his memory, this award will be given annually to a student in the Greater Northern Nevada Area to support their pursuit of higher education, a cause that my Dad was very passionate about. |
Qualifications: | Applications will be accepted from any resident of Greater Northern Nevada Area who attend or will attend full-time (12 credit hours or more) school as an undergraduate at a 2 or 4-year college, university, or trade school during the 2024 and/or 2025 academic year.
