Truckee Meadows Community College Men’s and Women’s Soccer hosted their annual awards banquet on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the TMCC Fitness Center.
Numerous guests, including donors and fellow faculty, were in attendance. Athletics Director and Head Women’s Soccer Coach Geoff Hawkins expressed gratitude to those helping sponsor another season of the Mighty Lizards. He also looked towards the future, hoping for a successful spring for the soccer programs and eventually competing at the NJCAA level in numerous other sports.
TMCC Athletics Department and Vice President of Student Services Estela Levario Gutierrez presented President Dr. Karin Hilgersom with a Gratitude Award, thanking her for founding the Men’s and Women’s Soccer programs in 2019.
Hawkins and Men’s Soccer Head Coach Kyle Kelly spent time reflecting on each student-athlete recognized, whether an outgoing sophomore or an individual award winner.
