Students who have repeated a course twice with the RN to BSN program and have not earned a “C” or better, will be dismissed from the program. Students withdrawing or dismissed from the nursing program must meet with their faculty and/or Nursing Director within the RN to BSN program for academic counseling and completion of the appropriate forms.
Licensure
All fully admitted students must hold an active United States registered nursing license with no restrictions. Students who elect to complete Practicum hour requirements in another state must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in that state. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain and maintain licensure and certification. The Nursing Department will verify licensure through the appropriate state board of nursing. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the Nursing Department of any restrictions that are placed on any license during the program.
