Description:

Dianne Cheseldine, Professor Emerita, taught French, Spanish, and Humanities for 29 years at TMCC. She founded the Distinguished Speaker Series at TMCC in 2000 with an invitation to historian Malcolm Miller to speak on the famous Chartres Cathedral. Dianne continues to field amazing speakers for the series, such as Egyptologist Zahi Hawass, Executive Producer, Fred Kaufman and Polar Explorer, Douglas Stoup.

Dianne will join the ranks of these speakers as we celebrate the renaming of the DSS to the Dianne Dodd Cheseldine Distinguished Speaker Series. Her talk, "Bringing the World to Reno: Birth of the TMCC Dianne Dodd Cheseldine Speaker Series" will entertain and inspire.
