The Truckee Meadows Community College Foundation was established in 1982 to provide TMCC with an avenue to pursue private philanthropic support for TMCC students and programs. The Foundation partners with the College to bridge the gap between public funding and College needs, as determined by TMCC's leadership and Strategic Master Plan.
Annually, the TMCC Foundation fuels student success and academic excellence by directly supporting programs, scholarships, capital projects, instructional equipment, professional development, emergency funding and other critical needs and opportunities as they arise.
To build community support, the TMCC Foundation and trustees serve as ambassadors to forge partnerships with individuals, businesses and organizations.
The Foundation raises funds through its annual fund campaign, employee giving, special events, and individual, corporate and private foundation solicitations. Our 2024 Annual Report provides further details about the projects we accomplished last year and also recognizes the many generous donors that make these projects and scholarships possible!
