Faculty for Radical Enlightenment and Empowerment (FREE), TMCC's longest-running interdisciplinary learning community, is dedicated to campus-wide sensory-based social-emotional student-centered learning.
We welcome students and faculty to participate in our Fall 2020 physically-distanced event: "A Brave New World," a collaborative chalk mural on the Dandini Plaza (between the Child Care Center and the V. James Eardley Student Center). Students and faculty/staff will—in their own designated grid square—relay one-at-a-time to chalk-illustrate an interpretation of our Brave New World, and how it relates to their Fall 2020 coursework.
The project will divide the Plaza into grid squares. Participating students and staff will fill one grid for one hour according to a physically distanced schedule during October 12–17. Join us for this FREE event that involves TMCC's diverse students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative project, that will be accompanied by dance interpretation as performed by TMCC dance students.
Join us and help to bring a sense of belongingness and humanization despite the global crisis.
