Mission
The mission of the TMCC Health and Wellness Committee is to promote a culture of physical, psychological, and emotional well-being for our students, employees and TMCC community by providing activities and support that will result in healthier lifestyles.
Purpose
- Increase awareness and factors contributing to physical and mental well-being.
- Inspire and empower individuals to take responsibility for their own health.
- Encourage our community to make healthier lifestyle choices.
- Create a sense of community and raise awareness through the use of campus and community health and wellness resources.
Charge
- To facilitate wellness communication through various online resources, workshops, and events.
- To offer programs that encourage physical activity, emotional well-being, and healthy eating habits.
- To ensure compliance with health and safety regulations that may affect the college.
- To provide resources to build a supportive network to bolster health goals.
- To encourage suggestions and feedback on future wellness programs and activities.
