Engineering Pathways for Access, Community and Transfer Revolutionizing Engineering Departments
Truckee Meadows Community College is excited to be a recipient of this National Science Foundation (NSF) grant, which will help engineering students at TMCC, Western Nevada College (WNC), and Great Basin College (GBC) experience a streamlined transfer process from their home institution to the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR).
As part of the National Science Foundation “Engineering Pathways for Access, Community, and Transfer (EPACT)” program, TMCC, in partnership with UNR, GBC, and WNC, will be offering three online engineering courses: Statics (ENGR 241), Circuits (EE 220), and Dynamics (ME 242).
Students from all community colleges in northern Nevada will be able to register for these online courses. These important 200-level courses will be offered online and open to all students at northern Nevada community colleges, allowing them to complete the courses at their home institution before transferring to UNR.
The tentative schedule for offering these courses is:
Fall 2025
ENGR 241: Statics
Prerequisite: PHYS 180
Corequisite: MATH 182
Spring 2026
ME 242: Dynamics
